Love Creamery’s Ice Cream Support Crew will work in high volume ice cream, pints, and topping production. On an average day, our support crew are working to music or podcasts while assisting our ice cream makers with cleaning, dishwashing, stocking ingredients and churning out large batches of ice cream. Our support team members often grow into other roles within a year.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Thoughtfully complete daily cleaning tasks to ensure all areas of kitchen and dishes are clean and organized, cleaning as you go, with attention to detail, while following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.Accurately follow detailed written protocols to prepare and store Love Creamery branded items including ice cream, sorbet, toppings, and inclusions. 
2. Properly stock and label ingredients.
3. Properly label, date, pack, and store up to 400 or more containers each week while maintaining accurate production logs. 
4. Accurately inventory tubs, pints, toppings, and bases to inform the daily production plan.
5. Complete daily assigned tasks in a timely and orderly fashion.
6. Consistently growing in the role, taking on new responsibilities and working independently.
7. Communicate clearly and effectively with all members of the team including Front and Back of house
8. Ability to measure ingredients accurately.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to access and navigate the production and retail facility. 
• Ability to stand eight hours, lift-up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and take required breaks on time
• Ability to measure ingredients accurately
• Passion for food, farming, cooking, teamwork, and quality
• No more than 10 days vacation total during June 15 – September 15.
• MN State food handler’s permit required (can obtain once hired)
• Demonstrates self-motivation while also being a dedicated team player
• Dedication to cleanliness and organization
• Great communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions with precision as well as give great attention to detail
• Ability to text and/or check email regularly

COMPENSATION

• $15/hour starting wage with incremental, merit-based raises
• Flexible scheduling, posted two weeks at a time with the ability to trade shifts
• Immediate ESSL with Paid Time Off after 12 consecutive months of employment and average of 25 hours per work week
• Matching 401k after 12 months of employment (must meet age requirement)
